The Adventure Continues...

Whats up, whats up!! After 6 days, we're back from our fantastic roadtrip into the Northland. One simple word - BEAUTIFUL!!! From beaches to rainforests, we saw it all, and tried our best to explore every nook and cranny of this facinating and wild country. We've gone through all the evidence and in the next couple days (hopefully) will sit down and post it all for your viewing pleasure. Too tired right now and off to bed! G'night :)

P.S for now we updated 5 measley photos on the end of the last post.

And... today marks 6 months since we left Canada!
And we are actually still getting along.... with a little help

Mom K's Post

For all of you concerned, I did arrive and yes it was a long flight!!! Jodi and Tawnya were actually waiting for me(they were not late). The sun is finally shining after a few days of rain. Met the pub mates that we will be having Thanksgiving dinner with. Having dinner with Lynette and Graham on Saturday(Karen's mom and dad). Hit the casino last night, wasn't too impressed although I did win $50 on 1 spin. Jodi drives around here like she has been driving on the wrong side of the road all her life. I like to sit in the back seat and try to keep my mouth shut. Tawnya is quite the chef and has been cooking us up breakfast and dinner. Have been hanging out close to home, catching up on their travels and happenings of home and will be taking a road trip on Tuesday to the northern country where I have been told the weather will be much warmer. Will have a quiet afternoon, as the girls have decided they better work a shift. They are certainly living the life of leisure and enjoying every moment. They look great!!!! I'm still not sure how they managed for the last 5 months as I see some things have not changed (this is for people who really know them). Oh no their shift just got cancelled, looks like we will be venturing out again. Oh yeah the picture is going down the glass bottom elevator from the skytower, 192 meters, it took 40 seconds. We actually had a fantastic dinner. Sweet as! (as the Kiwis say). PS It is quite hard to see which way the toilet actually flushes, and I am trying to get photos from all angles.

Tawn and Jode looking at their care packages from Mom K and Mom V, thanks for the costco size bottle of vitamins Mom V!

Our ghetto apartment building, the white L-shaped thing (in 3 pictures, one is close up and its in the bottom left of the above pic)We live in the corner of the "L" facing to the right in the pics. Below is Mom K hanging on for dear life in the elevator in the Skytower.
