Bad Day in Berlin

Today is an angry day.
Phones and internet in german.
We do not speak nor read german.
People giving blank stares when asked for help.
Tour guide abandoned us in the middle of the city, in the middle of the tour.
The tour being the thing we were most excited about.
Spent loads of €'s in the internet cafe without much result.
We think we have a place to stay tomorrow but are not entirely sure.
At least the wall has come down, because that would make it a lot harder to get around.
We have many pictures of part of the wall but cannot show you.
We did get to see a german-german shephard yesterday though.
And also a scottish-scottish terrier in Glasgow.
We also cannot show you pictures of them.
Tomorrow is a new day.
The tour people are gonna get a huge mouthful.
I think this will be posted on the blog but I have to guess which button to press.
Here goes...I'll try 'veröffentlichen'...or is it 'als entwurf speichern'?
You get the point.

Goodbye "aye", Hello "ya"

Views from our hostel window. Havent yet figured out how to turn the pics.

Urinals on the street for men. Donde esta el bano por las chicas? (No ladies bathroom anywhere except to pay for it)More on that later

T in the train station on route to Germany. This train would be delayed due to fire and cause us to miss our connecting train. The beginning of a troublesome period.

Our superbly clean hostel room

Flowermarket, took this one for mama V.

Surfing the net in a...ummm...coffeeshop?

Leidesplein square near where we stayed, loads of people, bars and restaurants

Timeout for Tawnya trying to find our hostel.

One of our 'feasts'

SOooooo... the entire blog is in Dutch right now and this is the best we can do. Apparently it is summer in Europe because Amsterdam is really hot. New clothes to wear (ie. shorts and tanks) we feel like new people. It is crazy here so many people and 10 times more bikes. We have not yet been hit by one. But theres still time. Costs 2 euros for 30 mins on the net so we'll have to do pics once again later when we figure it all out. Thanks for all the comments and emails keep em coming even if we don't reply!! Bye for now folks

Leaving Edinburgh

Greyfriar's Bobby, some dog who followed his dead owner and lived in the graveyard for 10 years by his grave. Then passed away on it. He is famous. More famous than the guy.

This is Greyfriars Cementery, over 100 people have been knocked unconscious here randomly, apparently by a poltergeist. But he didn't pick us unfortunately :( That would have been a good story.

These are more of Rosslyn chapel. Very beautiful and mystical place. The carvings in the stone were so detailed and all completley different each with specific meaning, many apparently hold secret code that has never been unlocked!?!?THe other is Tawnya in the Edinburgh streets on route to the most haunted graveyard in the world according to the Guiness book of world records! Oooooooo. Ahhhhhh.

Craigmillar Castle again (Just outside Edinburgh)
You can actually see 3 floors of the castle in the pic on the left, there is a fire place on each level, but the floors and ceilings have rotted away.

This is Rosslyn Chapel, built in 1446. We didn't have time to dig up the grail.

Jodi on a prison potty! Basically a long hole to the outside. Must have been some unlucky ones to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Too skinny to escape out of.

The above are Craigmillar castle, really cool castle in ruins, Mary Queen of Scots lived here at one time and we were in the room where she conceived the next King of Scotland, England and France!! Canny remember the name!

This is Edinburgh Castle, Jodi is really hungover and took a little happy nappy

Chips and cheese and meeting random people trying to figure out where the party is!!

Well we keep saying that pics are coming, and they are...but not yet. Costs lots of ££££'s!! So stay tuned. After leaving Glasgow we came back to Edinburgh and hung out with Rosco our old neighbor at the elmhurst 116st.Really strange to be sitting in his back garden and Dalkeith when we were having pints om Jasper Ave 2 weeks ago. We went to a couple castles (so good)and to Rosslyn chapel, where they say the holy grail is buried beneath in some crypt they can't dig for or the chapel may collapse. Amazing place built in 1446. The entire inside is hand carved stone. For you Davinci code fanatics you know that this is the center of everything. So much history. Anyways, times running out, off to Amsterdam in the morning!! Miss you all and will post some evidence soon!!!!
