Jodi's Birthday (and a peek into our apartment)
Here is some evidence of Jodi's birthday, embarassing for both of us actually, but posted for the purpose of entertaining you fine people. Those are Tawnya's "I've been drinking glasses" (in our apartment) and that is Jodi below, in proper birthday style, making friends with the local fauna. You should see the pics we left out. She got real cuddly with an unsuspecting sheep.

Hi Gals. Looks like your BDay went well, Jodi...and it DOES look like an organic-type cake!
All the Aunties and Uncles and kids and their kids are coming this weekend for Thanksgiving. Your Dad is building a temp table extention so all 18 can sit down together at one table. Lots of food. Lots of wine.
Going to a golf/spa thing next month...suck at golf but can manage spa quite well!

Long time no write. Jodi it was so nice to talk to you the other day. Sorry for getting so emotional. Glad to hear you had a enjoyable birthday. I've been informed that mom k has arrived safe and sound. Is she still sleeping? All is well here in chilly Edmonton. Work has been extremelly busy. We are planning a short get away with Bim and Susan to Canmore on the weekend after Thanksgiving. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us (no snow yet, I'm not ready for it). We will be celebrating Susan's 50th this coming weekend. Oiler season officially kicks off on Thursday Go Oilers Go. Take care

I finally figured out how to write you a note..I love your blog, Scott & I check it regularly to see whats new. Looks like you are having a trip of a lifetime!! Jealous.. NZ looks beautiful..How are things? You guys got jobs & and a pad I see. You are in Auckland right? You should look up old Mike Waller from NZ..lol.
