Alas, folks we have arrived. Now I feel a lot of pressure to impress since many of you said you'd be watching closely. We'll see how it goes, but nothing too exciting yet. My first favorite thing was when Jodi announced to the whole plane that she had a huge wedgie. She claims no one heard but I think the ears hadn't popped yet.
Well then after our 8 hour red eye flight we got to london (20 degrees!), navigated the underground and found our hostel with great ease, although we did stand on a corner for about 30mins before I finally convinced jodi that we should just ask someone, and it turns out the hostel (which smelled like dead sewer rats, thanks mom for those 8210 masks!) was half a block away. Pictured above is my confused, jet lagged face staring at the most confusing map I have seen thus far. Yes, the first one, in the first country. Good warm up. Jodi- I think this photo is more embarassing than the pic of me sleeping. It is only London and we are already so confused! My God we look like such tourists! Sidebar- there is a street directly to the left of Tawnya- that it right where our hostel is.
We actually were early to catch our scotland flight much to all your surprise! But it was only because we read the wrong time. We'll take it. Now in Edinburgh which is really cool and have successfully used the internet cafe as you all witnessing. Only one arguement so far. Not counting the one at the edmonton airport in front of both our families. Not bad. But PMS week is coming. ANyway that's all for now. Gonna hop on a tour bus in our matching jackets. We are such nerdy canadians. TAlk to y'all soon.

lol dead sewer rats hey!! i think i still beat u with cockroaches n mice!! but hey its all an experience... good luck on PMS week!lol i'm sure u b right. Tawn wish u were here to share in my excitment of my new camera she's a beaut u'd love her!! Matching jackets... way to represent though must say i am not surprised. Anyway good to hear u arrived safe. The fam is offically in 3 different continents from the summer 05 to this crazy who woulda thought!
