Dunedin and Otago Peninsula (March 26-28)

- Getting spoiled by Becs' Mum Joanne at her "bed n breakfast," everything was perfect and wonderful, even little fresh cut flowers garnished our plates. That day also happened to be Becs' Birthday! Yah, good times!
- New Zealand postman on a dirt bike

- Views along the Otago Peninsula
- Our little sea lion friend put on a show for us

- the beach where the little blue pengers walk up to get to their nests, unfortunately, we were too early for them. But we did get to see wild yellow-eyed penguins on our Invercargill trip...

- Sights in and around Dunedin town, super cute

- All the little Dunedin school kiddies in uniform
- Us at the Cadbury factory, but it was just closing so we only got to see the entrance
- Us in front of a million little crunchie bars!
- Becs sad that she didn't get to see the chocolate on her birthday, awww

- Becs' brother Matt, who is the twin of Emma, Becs' younger sister who is also a friend of ours, we love love the whole fam!! Dad's a cop too, Mum's a nurse, Becs a nurse, Emma's an Occupational Therapist and their little brother Ben is a Surf Lifeguard (no easy feat in NZ). And we can't forget Ellie the dog and Oscar the cat. Such a picture perfect family, who made us feel so comfortable and welcome in their home.

- Nick's fam was just as awesome, except that he has 2 brothers just as crazy as him. Weird coincidence, his older brother lived in Edmonton for 3 years and worked as a chef at the Hotel MacDonald. We ate at his family's chic cafe/bar and Andrew whipped up an amazing lunch. We still don't know what we did to deserve that.
Huge thanks go out to both of our new South Island families for everthing!!
