Where we be

Ok sportsfans, we are a little behind in the blog. 3 1/2 cities to be exact. So FYI posts on Auschwitz, Prague and Vienna are coming soon to a computer near you! However for now this is just a quick note to let everyone know (mostly Aunty Lorraine) that we arrived in Munich today by train. We actually got out of bed at 6:30 and caught the 8am train!! We can be productive when we try. So we have 5 nights here and then on to Switzerland on the 26th so Jodi can eat some chocolate and meet Heidi. Tawnya is excited that we are staying in the Zic Zac Rock (yes!) hotel in a rockstar dedicated themed room. She really misses Ursula (her guitar). It says the ZZ Top room may still be available. And what says swiss better than a bunch of white long bearded old fart (legendary) rockers!?

For now we are very content in our hotel as it was cheaper than some hostels, and had our first bath since we left Canada! It sure was a tight squeeze with both of us in there! Too much schnitzel. Just jokes of course. Tawn had a much needed and PMS induced soak in the tub. Previously, Jodi took a 40 minute shower and unknowingly flooded half the room while Tawn napped peacefully thanks to ibuprofen.

All is well but it has been raining all through Europe. We thought we had free internet at this hotel which is a fat lie. So when we panhandle 50 euros (if you can't beat em join em!) and find 40 hours of free time and patience, we will for surely get some pics up. The trouble is, between Jodi's unpredictable (and evil) hypoglycemic episodes and Tawn's extremely volatile PMS (can also be evil); being trapped in a internet cafe (trying to compromise on which 500 photos to pick from) is not generally the best way to maintain our jovial travels and/or sanity. Side bar - we love doing the blog but it seems that internet cafes make us a touch grumpy. In summary, there will be new posts with pics ASAP. We probably could have done them in the time it took to type this one. Prost!
