Jodi & Tawnya

You both look great in your new picture. Looking forward to seeing more pictures as soon as you have the time to post them. We came back from our much needed rest and relaxation (Carson Pegasus and Slave Lake) on Monday afternoon. For the first three days the only concern Uncle Josh and I had was where to place our lawn chairs / lawn beds. We had great hot hot weather. When at Carson we did manage to survive a wicked hail storm (1" balls) with minimal damage. The hail smashed the roof vent on Bob and Robyn's trailer. Stayed there for a week before heading to Slave Lake. Again had great weather and lots of fun as per usual. The heat must have got to Cody as he dressed up and ran around thinking he was "Nacho Libre". Not sure if the spelling is right but if you guys have seen the movie you will know what I mean. We had a fish cook off and Bob took first place. Mike took the "1st Annual Drinking Championship" trophy. We had a mini celebration at Slave Lake for Brandon's first birthday on July 21st. He is not walking yet but I suspect he will be soon. He will take one or two steps before sitting down. Today we went to Bob and Robyns for Brayden's 2nd birthday. I'm not sure he knows what's going on but I'm sure after Saturday he will. We are having a dual birthday / family get together. We will all miss not having you here to join us. I'm not sure if Jaclyn has filled you in but she finally has her drivers license and is proudly burning around like there is no tomorrow. Bye for now, miss you lots. Be good and stay safe.

Love Aunty Lorraine

PS Cody is here reading over my shoulder and says hi!!

Hi Gals
Your pics on the Mekong River are fantastic --so many shanties along the water. That snake is huge & well-- snakey. It looks so fat & heavy. Hopefully it does not have a tourist on the menu.
The parcel arrived on July 25 & I love the skirt--totally made to measure. Can you wear it tied to the front or back? It is beautiful.
The other gifts will be much much loved as well you know.
Keep in touch. It has been hot and humid here for the last month. Mom got your card she says & was pleased to hear from you.
Bye now --keep in touch. Don't play in that water.
Love you lots

Jodi & Tawnya:Enjoyed reading about your Cambodia experience (some what sobering, but a fact of life). I did not know Jodi was such an experienced cycle operator. Your Aunt & I have been looking at cyles (don't tell your cousins, D.J & T.E) Looking forward to seeing you both in the new year. Uncle J.

Wonderful journey and very interesting article. Thailand is the Italy of Asia. Great food, sunshine, beaches and friendly people having fun.The country still exudes a special charm even as visitors numbers increase as Thailand's tourist industry thrives. Choosing to buy a property in Thailand is a smart investment decision. Places like Phuket and Koh Samui can offer buyers with the hottest property investments in Thailand.
